My last day in Eureka Springs--for now--started with this good news from the courts in Little Rock. Now, if only the Court of Appeals in NY State would get on the stick and make it so K. can make an honest woman of me next year.
Until then, carrot muffins, bluberry pancakes, and jam for everyone.

Wilkommen backommen! :) No matter how glad you are to be home, it's a little tough packing up the suite, isn't it? Glad to hear that the Borough Hall market came through for you, anyway. We need to go out to a nice fancy beverage-&-snacks place. I'm dying to hear all your Tales Out of Eureka.
The news from Little Rock is very encouraging, indeed. Doesn't the thought of buying that church and selling pies to visitors from Texas sound better and better? ;)
Yes, drinks and a snack are definitely in order! You know, I was so NOT ready to leave Eureka that I left half my clothes (not to mention my shampoo and soap) in the suite by mistake. But at least I toted all my jam home, plus pounds of War Eagle cornmeal and flour. Alas, that church finally sold--to the Reddicks (sp?) who own the mill, the Basin Park hotel and the Crescent Hotel. They're going to use it for weddings and events--unfortunately, the neighborhood got the area zoned so as to preclude a restaurant from going in there. But Eureka still awaits your bakery!! Little Bread is sweet, but your cream puffs would trounce theirs any day...
