I'm an apprentice at the Center for Agroecol...Sure! I'm an apprentice at the Center for Agroecology and Sustainable Food Systems at UC Santa Cruz. CASFS runs a three-part farm/garden system on campus including mechanically tilled fields and two extensive hand-tilled gardens, all growing a wide variety of food crops and flowers. The apprenticeship is a full-time, 6-month field study program involving both hands-on farm work and lectures/classroom study. It's demanding but great so far...and yes, I'll post more pix soon.Stephanie J.
